Bio

One-Rob Band rose out of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as a way to continue playing in a group during times of isolation in individual sessions dubbed 'Rob's Not Dead.' After lockdowns ceased, Rob Stokes legitimized this group as a bonafide solo project, drawing on one-man band efforts like the self-titled albums McCartney, Prince, and Garcia. In 2021 Fly Free was released as a compilation of their 2020 recordings and by 2022 had been featured on the Grateful Dead's social media. Rob can be found outside of One-Rob Band playing locally in the Twin Cities with his group All Good Company,  Jim Hinkley's Forever Young, and other various acts.
